ABOUT ME
Life presents us with many challenges, but I strongly believe we all can navigate those challenges and overcome some of the depression, anxiety and other symptoms that life can cause. We will work together on understanding why you are feeling some of the emotions that you are experiencing. It can be helpful to understand how you fit into your interpersonal relationships including those with children, significant others, parents, work, etc. Understanding our roles and how we function in those roles can help to navigate change.
It can also be helpful to understand our internal “self-talk” and assess if it is being helpful or hindering us. The good news about our thinking is we can change unhelpful thoughts with practice, and my role will be to support you in that journey.
Please contact my office today so we can get your initial appointment scheduled.
EXPERIENCE
I have worked with adolescents and adults for over 20 years from all different cultural backgrounds and those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community in both emergency and inpatient hospital settings, domestic violence services, clinical services with insurance companies as well as public child welfare. For my career I have helped adolescents and adults work on life challenges by building on their skills to overcome obstacles that life presents.
I will work closely with you to find interventions that are helpful to you, unlocking the skills and tools that you have to life a healthy, happy life.
