ABOUT ME
Welcome! Life can be challenging and can lead us to unexpected places sometimes. Whether you’re feeling stuck or experiencing stress, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, parenting issues, trauma, or other concerns, I will come alongside you to help navigate your journey towards hope and healing. With my gentle, yet direct, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach, I can help you discover the tools that you have within yourself for learning new skills that serve you better to create lasting, positive change. Let’s work together to help you set and achieve your goals!
My experience in working with adults, children, adolescents and families has been varied and diverse, allowing me the privilege to get to know and understand individuals from a multi-faceted perspective. While I am trained in and certified in a number of different individual and family therapy modalities, I believe it is important to cater the approach to your needs.
I strive to provide a trusting, respectful and safe space in which you are empowered to create the changes you desire in your life. All while doing so in a strength-based, culturally responsive manner, in which you create deeper meaningful connections and interrupt unhelpful patterns. I look forward to supporting and guiding you in this journey we call life. Please contact my office today for help setting up an initial session. I offer in-person and online sessions.
EXPERIENCE
I have over 25 years of experience helping adults, teens, children and families in crisis. I have worked in diverse settings including community mental health, outpatient hospital setting, psychiatric facility, child welfare and private agency serving foster and adopted children.
